References let you guide your creations using images you love. You can use them to apply a visual style, keep characters consistent across scenes, or capture a specific mood, pose, lighting or composition.
References are most powerful when working consistently across these elements:
Style — apply a shared color, mood and visual language across your work
Characters — maintain facial features, proportions and presence across scenes
Composition — guide pose, lighting, anatomy or subject dynamics
Creating and using References
Watch the video tutorial below and see how easy it is to create and use your own references. In the example, we’ll edit an image of a kitchen interior and:
✓ create a reference to desert sunsets
✓ upload an image of a minimalist, white kitchen
✓ apply our desert reference for a new, inspired kitchen design
