Understanding resolution
Every image is made up of pixels: the tiny building blocks that define its dimensions and detail. More pixels means more detail, and more flexibility in how you can use your image. Reve generates images at standard resolution by default, which is ideal for most digital uses including web, screen display and social.
Reve’s standard resolution
| Aspect Ratio | Resolution |
|---|---|
| 16:9 | 1536 × 864 px |
| 3:2 | 1536 × 1024 px |
| 4:3 | 1536 × 1152 px |
| 1:1 | 1024 × 1024 px |
| 3:4 | 1152 × 1536 px |
| 2:3 | 1024 × 1536 px |
| 9:16 | 864 × 1536 px |
All images maintain approximately 1.5 megapixels.
Aspect ratio
Aspect ratio determines the shape of your image. Choosing the right ratio before you generate saves time and ensures your image fits its intended use without cropping. See our Aspect Ratio article for more.
Upscaling images on Reve
If you need more pixels for print, large format use, or professional output, you can upscale any image directly in Reve. Upscaling generates a new higher resolution version of your image without needing to start again. See our Upscaling article for more.
