As part of your creative process you may want to incorporate certain files. Reve can support a range of file types, and you can use them with the chat interface when creating or editing images.
Images
To upload one or multiple images, click the paperclip icon in the chat interface. Select Take photo if you want to snap a new image to include, or Upload files if you want to choose from existing images on your device.
Once you’ve uploaded your images to the chat interface, you can instruct Reve to edit, reference or remix them as part of your creative process.
Controlling how Reve interprets your image uploads
You control how Reve interprets the images you’ve uploaded. You can choose between Literal and Inspiration.
- Literal: The image is used as a direct reference. Reve will try to preserve the actual content, composition, or specific elements from the image.
- Inspiration: The image is used as a loose creative guide. Reve will draw from its mood, style, color palette, or general vibe without replicating it directly.
You can update this setting by going to Custom in the chat interface and selecting Use attachments.
Pro tip: you can also control this in the Chat by telling Reve directly how you want to use the upload.
You can upload PDFs to use as creative direction. Reve will read your document and extract relevant details such as visual descriptions, scene settings, style references or mood. Useful for scripts, storyboards, brand guidelines or creative briefs.
Audio
Reve supports audio file uploads and will analyze your file to understand its mood, tempo, genre and overall vibe, translating those qualities into visual concepts. Useful for album artwork, music video concepts, or any project where you want imagery to feel aligned with the music.
Video
Reve currently does not support video attachments. To use a video as inspiration we recommend capturing some video stills and uploading them as images.
